Collaborative Painting Sessions
A creative experience with your family to craft a one-of-a-kind abstract piece that will grace your home for generations to come.
I'm a dedicated full-time artist with a degree in Fine Art, specializing in painting and design. As a mother of three young children myself, I understand the dynamics of family interactions and how to make this artistic process enjoyable for all.
Together, we will create a piece of art using professional art materials. I'll provide everything you need, including a raw canvas, paints, oil pastels, brushes, drop cloths, and smocks. And don't worry about the mess – I've got the cleanup covered. We'll also have refreshments and snacks on hand.
Join me for a personalized one-day art session at Bender JCC's art studios in Rockville, MD.
Prior to your session, choose your desired colors for a unique paint pour, which I will create in advance to serve as the base for your artwork.
During your 1-2 hour session, I'll guide you in layering thick acrylic paint and oil pastels on the poured base, adding depth and texture. No prior experience necessary.
To secure your spot, I request a 50% deposit after we determine the desired size for your painting. We'll then collaborate to choose a convenient weekend for your family.
Once your artwork is complete, I take care of the finishing touches. This includes cleaning up, painting the sides, applying varnish, hardware/wire for hanging, and personally delivering the art to your home.
Please note that there is an additional 6% sales tax for all artwork.
I offer framing services using thin natural wood floater frames, which provide a polished and contemporary look to your art. I highly recommend them.
